Experience
Hi, My name is Sarah, and I was a bilingual teacher in New York City after graduating from the University of Michigan with a double major in Spanish and International Relations. While in undergrad, I traveled extensively in Latin America, completing internships in both Peru and Nicaragua, and studying abroad in Chile. I also spent time in Uruguay, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic. Aside from my teaching experience, I have tutored high school and college students in Spanish, and I have also tutored Spanish-speaking adults in English. In high school, I won the AP Spanish award, and got a 5 on the AP exam. Speaking Spanish has been a huge part of my life and has given me so many benefits - I really enjoy teaching others the language, and giving students the opportunity to have the advantage of being bilingual.
