I've been tutoring informally since I was a high school freshman, but my friends ask me for help with science and math homework. I realized I was good at explaining concepts in ways that my friends understood, and that inspired me to seek out tutoring. I began tutoring formally while I was still a high school student, and I continued tutoring when I went to the University of Michigan. I'm now pursuing my bachelor's degree in neuroscience, and I've been helping students with academic coursework as well as preparation for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. Now that I'm further into my studies in neuroscience, I'm comfortable tutoring students at the college and high school level with physics, chemistry, biology, pre-calculus, geometry, and algebra. In my free time, I enjoy basketball and playing the piano.
