I received a score of 23 in math when I took the ACT. I have tutored my peers in math all throughout my four years in high school. I understood the lessons and could explain how to do the problems very well. They often would seek my help on homework assignments as well as being their study partner. By becoming a tutor, I am helping others gain a better understanding of a subject that many "hate" and become uneasy when brought up in a discussion. I want to help others feel as confident as I do when it comes to passing that math exam. I have taken Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Algebra 3&4(Advanced Algebra with Trigonometry), and Precalculus.
