The difference between the grades you are getting and the grades you want to get is one simple thing- a great tutor! I have been teaching for a well known test prep institution for 4 years. Additionally, i have taken countless courses in sciences, humanities, and social sciences in my undergraduate and graduate career. I have tutored since high school and i am very comfortable with adapting to each student's learning style. Analogies, mnemonics, visual cues, repetition, real world examples are a few of the many tools to be used. As a tutor, i will strive to adapt to the unique learning needs of each student. I recognize throughout my educational career as both a tutor and a tutee that no student is the same, and no concept is too difficult. It simply requires a different approach to teaching.
