Experience
I am currently a middle school English teacher (grades 6-8) in Detroit. As with teaching, I enjoy tutoring because I love seeing my students develop not only academic skills, but also confidence in their abilities. While I have the most experience in and resources for teaching English, I greatly enjoy working with students of all ages in math and with older students in preparing for their ACT/SAT. I have tutored students individually for their ACT and have taught a GED class for approximately fifteen students at a time. Hobbies
Thank you for considering me to be a tutor for your son or daughter! As I mentioned, I am a middle school teacher, so that happily takes up most of my life. In addition to teaching, I love reading, playing sports (especially volleyball and softball), and traveling.
