My name is Sarah, and I was a bilingual teacher in New York City after graduating from the University of Michigan with a double major in Spanish and International Relations. While in undergrad, I traveled extensively in Latin America, completing internships in both Peru and Nicaragua, and studying abroad in Chile. I also spent time in Uruguay, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic. Aside from my teaching experience, I have tutored high school and college students in Spanish, and I have also tutored Spanish-speaking adults in English. In high school, I won the AP Spanish award, and got a 5 on the AP exam. Speaking Spanish has been a huge part of my life and has given me so many benefits - I really enjoy teaching others the language, and giving students the opportunity to have the advantage of being bilingual.
HobbiesI love listening to music in Spanish, eating Dominican food, and learning about different Latin American cultures. I've recently moved back to the Detroit area, and am so excited to be home!
