As tutor, I focus on English and reading skills. I also focus on these subjects in relation to standardized tests like the ACT and the SAT. However, I do teach other subjects such as basic math, algebra, computer science, social studies, American history, writing, and public speaking. I work with various levels of skill and age groups. I work with students based in or near Southwest Detroit.My educational background consists of the renowned college prep institution Detroit Jesuit High School. After graduating from there, I attended Wayne State University with a film production degree. I feel a strong need to teach and interact with young people. I demand hard work and positivity from the students I tutor. That's because I believe that every student can succeed with determination and a willingness to conquer the odds.In addition to my love of film and teaching, I like baseball, music, and Detroit in general.
