I'm currently a student at Michigan State University with a 4.0 GPA pursuing a degree in secondary education/mathematics with a focus in urban education. I'm a member of the honors college. Michigan state has had the top college of education in the nation for the past 22 years and I'm honored to be apart of this college and this Urban educators cohort program.
Experience
Math has always been my favorite subject. I've recently served as a independent tutor this semester, in which, I tutored 4 children on a regular bases. This experience gives me the skill i need to work with and tutor students in specific mathematics subjects. All of my students showed a significant increase in grades.I have just completed a semester in calculus and can complete and explain any work up to the calculus level. As a highly motivated and enthusiastic, individual, I have the ability to work well with others. My past experience volunteering at a local middle school tutoring kids gives me the experience that is needed to work with students. My outstanding communication skills and creative mind gives me the ability to explain concepts in many different ways. My exceptional knowledge in math qualifies me for the position. I have the ability to exceed your expectations. I am confident that my strong desire to help people achieve their goals will go a long way in providing high-quality services to you.

Hobbies
I'm a very caring and outgoing person. I like all sports. Football is my favorite. I have a lot of school spirit and stay updated on all of the sports teams at MSU. l'm very open minded.I love trying new things and helping others. I like helping others come out of their shells and become more confident individuals.
